Digital visualization of a 3D landscape with glowing blue and orange lines and peaks illustrating data or information waves.

Aslan is in active R&D. We are pursuing government prototype partnerships through SBIR and SOFWERX program channels.

What We Do

Fidelis Machines builds AI and autonomous systems for defense, critical infrastructure, and industrial security.

Autonomous Perimeter Intelligence

Our flagship R&D program is Aslan — a next-generation Perimeter Intrusion Detection System (PIDS) currently in development. Aslan patrols defined territories, builds a georeferenced multi-modal environmental baseline, and detects intrusion conditions before intrusion events occur. The platform runs on an autonomous UGV and processes all sensor data on-board with no cloud dependency.

A network graph visualization showing nodes and edges, with nodes divided into groups by color, representing traffic volume and connection types, with a total of 1,079 nodes and 996 edges.

The SIGMA Algorithm

Signals Intelligence Gathering, Mapping, and Anomaly Detection (SIGMA) is the core algorithm powering Aslan. SIGMA simultaneously maps the electromagnetic and thermal environment of a sector and detects security-relevant deviations in a single patrol pass. Self-calibrating, tamper-evident, and auditable by design.

Autonomous Systems Development

Beyond Aslan, we develop autonomous systems for off-the-shelf robotics and IoT platforms. Our capabilities include sensor fusion, edge AI, path planning, computer vision, and behavior tree-based autonomous decision logic, validated on our 200-acre proving ground in Central Virginia.
